It was established 17 centuries ago, and is most know for Diocletian's palace and historical center which are under the UNESCO protection. In the last couple of years Split is the host of famous Ultra festival that attracts young music fans from all over the world. Besides its cultural rhices, Split is also the main ferry connection with beautiful Croatian islands.

Diocletian Palace

One of the most imposing ancient Roman structures in existence today. Diocletian’s Palace was built in the 4th century as a retirement seaside residence for the Roman Emperor, his family and servants and guard. The Palace remained empty after the Romans abadoned the site. In the 7th century, nearby residents fled to the walled palace in an effort to escape invading Croats. You are able to visit this beautiful architectures masterpiece 0-24.

Marjan viewpoint

Marjan is the hill above the Split. It gives you the opportunity to feel a perfect combination of natural and urban harmony of the city. It is a beautiful place to find peace or for recreation.

Bacvice beach

This beach is situated in the heart of the city. This beautiful sand beach offers capacity fo more than 10 thousand bathers, a loto of parking spaces, restaurants, open gym, etc.

Ultra Europe Festival

Ultra Europe is the European edition of the worldwide dance music festival. It takes place at Split's Stadion Poljud, lasts for three days, and over 150 artist perform on the four stages.
